Eco Art Gallery

Three exhibits will be presented here. Earthjustice will release an extraordinary set of photographs taken by National Geographic photographers called, “the Irreplaceable Exhibit”.

In Spring 2009, an Eco Photo Contest was run in the Boston Public Schools. Three schools won the contest and will be recipients of $250 in Gift Certificates from Jamaicaway Books of Jamaica Plain. Five schools received honorable mention. They will receive their awards on Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 2-2:30 pm at the South Stage. The winning photographs will be on display at the Eco Art Gallery.

The winners are: The Lee Academy Pilot School, Mission Hill School and Nathan Hale School. Honorable Mention goes to: Another Course to College, Irving Middle School, Oliver Hazard Perry School, Franklin D. Roosevelt K-8 School, and TechBoston.

A small exhibit of special green roof photographs from around the world put together by Ms. Elena Saporta will also be exhibited.
