To help raise awareness about the wastefulness of plastic water bottles, Boston GreenFest will provide free drinking water to everyone. Annawon Weeden will lead the ceremony with friends and family of Wampanoag and Narragansett heritage.
The One Gallon ChallengeTM is a "race" to Boston GreenFest to see how long one gallon of gas will last. On display at City Hall Plaza will be a group of cars you've never seen before. Pictured above is a solar and pedal powered vehicle named "Sunbeam" and comes to us from Vermont. more info EcoThemes for 2013: Isaac's Moving Company will be at Boston GreenFest 2013 to help the exhibitors move into place. As green as our lawns seem, they are far from "green". They account for significant amounts of water, energy and chemicals that add toxins to our watershed. Pearl's Premium reduces this considerably. EcoFashion 2013 ![]() Eco Fashion Photo of Lazarusworks Photography Boston Public Schools This contest requires Boston Public Schools to submit up to 5 digital photos that reflect an eco-friendly activity that a class, or the school engaged in. Entrants are judged on the criteria of the environmental aspect covered, the scope of participation (the class, school, families, the community) and the quality of the photos.
