DARLINE PERKINS

Native fashion designer, DarlIne Perkins, designs clothing worn by international models and others to high-level events. Now her business, Red Lightning Couture, is a co-sponsor of an event, Honoring the Sacred Circle that focuses on Mother Earth, climate change and the environment. She is one of a few Native American designers who is adept at using porcupine quills in her designs.

Perkins, an Arikara/Hidatsa/Lakota, is originally from Parshall and now lives in Bismarck. Great to have her as part of our EcoFashion Show.
