With a BA in Natural Sciences from Hampshire College and a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England, Dr. Rob Moir has been working as an advocate for our natural water sources since 1979. As Executive Director of Ocean River Institute, Rob promotes working within our own communities to create change. He has received numerous awards including the Switzer Environmental Fellowship, the James Centorino Award for Distinguished Performance in Marine Education and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund Award for the Development of a College Course on Cetacean Biology, Ecology and Conservation.
